KELSO—Douglas Fir imported from renowned Danish flooring company Dinesen was used in the making of this sideboard and wall hung shelving unit. The framework in both pieces was dovetailed for strength and the drawers at either end run on durable birch runners. The grain is matched along the face of the cabinet and along the interlocking shelves. Traditional Scandinavian lye was used to finish the timber, bleaching the soft fibrous part of the timber and allowing the grain to stand out in contrast.
